Absorbine UltraShield EX Fly Spray

Absorbine UltraShield EX Fly Spray is a premium insect repellent formulated specifically for horses, designed to deliver long-lasting protection against flies, mosquitoes, gnats, ticks, and other biting pests that plague horses in pastures, stables, and trail rides. Built on Absorbine's trusted reputation in equine care, this advanced formula goes beyond basic repellents by combining proven active ingredients with a sweat-resistant and water-resistant base, allowing it to stay effective even when horses are worked hard, turned out in the rain, or exposed to intense summer heat. Riders and barn managers rely on UltraShield EX because it doesn't just repel insects temporarily—it provides residual protection that can last up to 17 days for ticks and multiple days for flies, reducing the need for constant reapplication and helping horses stay calmer and more comfortable throughout their daily routines.

What sets UltraShield EX apart in the crowded fly control market is its added skin conditioning agents, including aloe and lanolin, which soothe and protect the horse's coat while the active repellents go to work. This dual-action approach means owners aren't sacrificing coat health for pest protection; instead, the spray helps maintain a shiny, healthy appearance even with frequent use throughout fly season. The formula is also sweat-proof, making it especially valuable for performance horses, show horses, and those in rigorous training programs where perspiration would otherwise wash away lesser repellents within hours. Its trigger-spray bottle design allows for even, controlled application across the horse's body, including sensitive areas like the legs, belly, and face when used with a cloth, giving riders confidence that their horse is shielded from nose to tail.

For equestrians managing barns, boarding facilities, or simply caring for a single beloved horse, Absorbine UltraShield EX represents a dependable line of defense against the health risks and irritation caused by biting insects, including skin reactions, disease transmission, and the general stress that pest harassment places on horses. Its reputation among professional trainers, veterinarians, and everyday horse owners has made it a staple in tack rooms and feed stores alike, often considered one of the gold standards in equine fly control. Whether used during turnout, trailering, competition, or routine grooming, this fly spray integrates seamlessly into a horse's care regimen, offering a blend of efficacy, skin care, and durability that addresses the real-world challenges of keeping horses comfortable and protected throughout fly season.
